2.2 Malfunction Analysis and Troubleshooting

On-site observation of the malfunction after powering on the machine showed that both the monitor and workstation displayed “NO SIGNAL POWER SAVING MODE DIGITAL”, thus ruling out a monitor malfunction. Measurements of the power supply voltages during machine startup were normal, and the same malfunction occurred after replacing the power supply, ruling out a power supply problem. Analysis of the machine's startup operation indicated that the fault originated within the PC case. After removing the PC case cover and restarting the machine, the motherboard fan spun normally and there were normal self-test sounds. The control panel indicator lights illuminated, indicating that the machine started normally; only the display was malfunctioning. This suggested a graphics card issue. After powering down the machine, the graphics card was reseated. After reseating, the machine started and the monitor displayed normally, resolving the malfunction. Two days later, the hospital reported the same malfunction. A replacement graphics card of the same version was installed, and the machine operated without further issues for some time, thus completing the repair.
