I. Fault Phenomenon:
The machine starts normally, but after entering the ultrasound two-dimensional interface, there is no echo and no imaging.
II. Fault Analysis:
On-site observation shows that the probe echo area only has a weak echo in the near field. The machine can normally identify the probe, but the probe is not in a normal excitation working state. From the working principle of the probe, the ultrasound probe emits ultrasonic waves after receiving the excitation pulse, and after a period of delay, the probe receives the echo signal reflected by the human body. The ultrasound diagnostic instrument processes the echo signal and displays the ultrasound image that can be used for clinical diagnosis on the display. Therefore, it is judged that the high-voltage output used to excite the probe is faulty.
After opening the machine casing, it was observed that after the machine started, all the power indicator lights were green and on, indicating that the power voltage output was normal. Opening the machine's E-box chassis, the AIM board is mainly responsible for controlling the ±HV transmission and providing the main clock signal to the front end, and providing the working voltage to the probe. Therefore, it is judged that the machine failure is caused by the AIM board failure.
III. Detection and Repair:
Replace the AIM board, troubleshoot the fault, and the machine resumes normal operation.
