I. Fault Phenomenon:
When using the 4C probe for abdominal scanning, the VE9 occasionally shows a dividing line with different brightness on the left and right sides from top to bottom, as shown in the following figure:
II. Fault Analysis:
According to the fault description, this is an intermittent fault that occurs in specific examination areas. When the scanning area is changed, the fault disappears, so hardware failure can be ruled out. The analysis should be a software or application condition setting problem.
III. Solution:
1. Reinstall the software and restore the application conditions. The doctor reported that the fault still occurred during use.
2. Suspecting application condition problems, the application conditions of another VE9 were imported, and no fault occurred, confirming that it was a condition setting problem.
3. Comparing the application conditions of the two machines, it was found that the doctor had set 4 focal points when using this machine.
4. The number of focal points was set to one, and after testing, the fault did not occur again, and the fault was resolved.
