Machine Type: Olympus

Machine Model: BF-260 Bronchoscope

1. Fault Detection:

(1) Observe the outer tube for any damage or destruction, and look for any damage to the outer skin.

(2) Observe whether the illumination fiber is damaged; no obvious damage was found.

(3) Check if the endoscope image clarity, field of view, etc., are normal; everything is normal.

(4) Inspect the internal rod lens with a magnifying glass; no obvious damage was found.

(5) Check the fiber optic interface for rust; the light cone is clean and undamaged.

2. Fault Determination:

Severe bite marks at the end of the insertion tube; hole in the outer skin.

3. Fault Analysis and Causes:

Long-term use has caused severe deformation at the end of the insertion tube. Residual tissue protein on the surface is dehydrated and adhered during disinfection by glutaraldehyde, and long-term accumulation with the outer skin forms crystals, leading to holes and wear on the outer skin of the insertion tube.

4.Fault Handling:

Overhaul, replace the insertion tube; replace the outer skin.

5. Post-Repair Effect:

6. Endoscope Maintenance Tips

Maintenance of the endoscope host

(1) Maintain a clean and moderately humid operating environment.

(2) Ensure a stable power supply and grounding.

(3) For systems equipped with computer workstations, the computer must be equipped with an isolation and purification power supply or a UPS power supply to protect the host circuit board from being burned out by leakage current.
