The ACUSON X700 diagnostic instrument has the following advantages:

 

First, for abdominal diseases, the ACUSON X700 uses Siemens' most advanced lens transducer and needle-free contact transducer interface. This transducer can achieve a penetration depth of up to 30cm, particularly addressing the issue of insufficient transducer penetration in patients with fatty liver.


Second, for superficial tissue diseases, the ACUSON X700 is equipped with a VF12-4 all-purpose high-frequency transducer, with a width of up to 51mm, currently the widest superficial high-frequency transducer in the industry. While radial scanning is the most common technique for breast examination, its drawback is the tendency to miss small breast lesions. The all-purpose high-frequency transducer allows for richer tissue information acquisition in the same section, enabling better judgment of the relationship between the target tissue and adjacent tissues and effectively reducing the occurrence of missed diagnoses; its effective penetration depth reaches up to 16cm, allowing for high-detail resolution imaging of superficial and deep tissues in areas such as deep tissue details in obese or edematous patients' lower limbs, and neonates' abdomen. The VF12-4 all-purpose high-frequency transducer also features Siemens' unique Clarify VE vascular enhancement technology. This technology digitally subtracts the vessels, effectively removing intravascular noise, allowing for clear observation of intravascular conditions in both deep and superficial vessels, enhancing the display of the vessel wall and intima, and enabling direct observation of the vessel architecture, course, and distribution.


Third, regarding the heart, to address the frequent issues of insufficient frame rate and low detail resolution in cardiac examinations, the ACUSON X700 uses classic alternating harmonic technology for cardiac imaging, which reduces clutter and improves image frame rate. For cardiac function measurement, the ACUSON X700 employs two measurement schemes: anatomical M-mode and two-dimensional 360° cardiac function measurement, performing cardiac function measurement directly on the two-dimensional image, making it more rapid and efficient.

 

The Siemens ACUSON X700 inherits classic ultrasound imaging technologies such as dynamic tissue contrast enhancement (DTCE), dynamic tissue optimization (DTO), advanced spatial compounding, tissue one-button optimization (TGO), and automatic blood flow technology. These technologies can optimize image quality in real time, obtaining high-resolution images and greatly saving time in adjusting the machine, allowing physicians to focus on disease diagnosis rather than machine operation, thus providing more accurate ultrasound examination results for clinical practice and supporting our hospital in comprehensively improving medical services.
