2. Fault Detection
(1) Observe external components.Complete without obvious damage.
(2) On-machine detection. The detection shows that the transducer elements are significantly missing, and the transducer is broken.
3. Fault Determination and Analysis
Long-term use has caused wear and tear on the transducer lens, resulting in missing elements. Replacement of the transducer is recommended.
4. Fault Handling
Replace the transducer. After reinstallation and on-machine testing, the image is normal.
5. Post-Repair Effect

6. Probe Maintenance and Care
(1)  Handle with care

Ultrasound probes must be handled with care during use to avoid impacts that could damage the internal chips. When finished using the probe, do not fold or tangle the probe connecting wires.

(2) Probe Plugging and Unplugging

In daily applications, when changing ultrasound probes, always turn off the main power. If the host is not powered off and not frozen, directly plugging and unplugging the probe may cause damage to the internal circuit board and crystals due to a momentary surge of current. It will also accelerate the oxidation of the probe plug pins, directly affecting the normal use of the probe.

(3) Probe Cleaning and Disinfection
Avoid contact between the probe socket and disinfectant. If the probe socket is contaminated with cleaning agents or disinfectants, it will directly corrode and accelerate the oxidation of the probe socket pins. In short, maintenance and care are important aspects of the actual medical equipment maintenance process for ultrasound probes, as the effective accuracy of the ultrasound probe directly affects the efficiency of ultrasound examinations. Regular maintenance should be carried out to reduce damage caused by human factors and extend the service life of the ultrasound probe.
