3. Fault Determination and Analysis

Long-term use leads to aging of the insertion tube, light guide, and water/air tube; damage to the internal angle steel wire results in improper angle and inability to adjust; residual tissue protein on the surface of the insertion tube adheres to the outer layer after dehydration by glutaraldehyde during disinfection. Long-term accumulation leads to crystallization, causing damage to the CCD component.

4. Fault Handling

Overhaul. Replace the insertion tube, light guide; replace the CCD; replace the water/air tube; repair the instrument channel; replace the angle steel wire; replace the bending rubber.

6.Endoscope Tips

After daily use

(1) After use, the endoscope should be thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, dried, and leak-tested according to the instructions to prolong its service life.

(2) After use, immediately clean with cleaning solution, thoroughly clean the channel with a special cleaning brush, then soak in the soaking solution. At all times, the soft parts of the endoscope should not be handled or cleaned together with hard, sharp attachments. If using a cloth, please use clean and soft non-woven fabric to prevent contaminants from contaminating the endoscope body.

(3) After cleaning, all channels should be blown dry, and the lens surface should be wiped clean with lens paper in one direction, keeping the lens clean and bright.

(4) Regularly check the endoscope for leaks to prevent water ingress causing imaging failure.
