 6. Probe Maintenance and Care
(1)  Handle with care

Ultrasonic probes must be handled with care during use to avoid impact damage to the internal chips. When the probe is not in use, do not bend or tangle the probe connecting wires.

(2) Probe Plugging and Unplugging

In daily use of ultrasonic probes, when changing ultrasonic probes, always turn off the host power. If the host is not powered off and not frozen, directly plugging and unplugging the probe may cause damage to the internal circuit board and crystals due to a momentary strong current. It will also accelerate the oxidation of the probe plug pins, directly affecting the normal use of the probe.
(3) Probe Cleaning and Disinfection
Avoid contact between the probe socket and disinfectant. If the probe socket is contaminated with cleaning agents and disinfectants, it will directly corrode and accelerate the oxidation of the probe socket pins. In short, maintenance and care are important aspects of the practical maintenance of ultrasonic probes in medical equipment, as the effective accuracy of the ultrasonic probe directly affects the efficiency of ultrasound examinations.
