(1) Ultrasound probes are expensive components. During use, they must be handled with care and must not be impacted. During transportation and storage, the original manufacturer's probe packaging box or a soft cloth should be used to wrap the probe.
(2) When installing and removing the probe, turn off the main power of the machine first, then carefully operate.
(3) Avoid contact with organic solvents, otherwise the probe may crack and be damaged due to contact with organic solvents, but alcohol-based organic solvents can be used. Remember not to use acetone for wiping.
(4) Protect the lens surface. Once the lens surface is damaged, the coupling agent is easily to enter the probe, damaging the piezoelectric crystal. Therefore, sharp objects are not allowed to pierce the lens surface during use.
(5) Use a non-corrosive coupling agent. The ultrasound coupling agent used has no irritating effect on the skin and is non-oily, because many probe lenses are easily corroded and damaged by oily substances.
