(1) The ultrasound probe is a valuable component. During use, it must be handled with care and must not be collided. During transportation and storage, the original manufacturer's probe packaging box or a soft cloth should be used to wrap the probe.
(2) When installing and removing the probe, the main power of the machine should be turned off first, and then carefully operated.
(3) Avoid contact with organic solvents, otherwise the probe will crack and be damaged due to contact with organic solvents, but alcohol-based organic solvents can be used. Remember not to wipe with acetone.
(4) Protect the lens surface. Once the lens surface is damaged, the couplant is easily entered into the probe, damaging the piezoelectric chip. Therefore, sharp objects are not allowed to pierce the lens surface during use.
(5) A non-corrosive couplant should be used. The ultrasound couplant used has no irritating effect on the skin, is non-oily, because many probes' acoustic lenses are easily damaged by corrosion from oily substances.
