1. Malfunction Phenomenon：

Blurry image with black spots, air leakage from the insertion tube.

2. Malfunction Detection：

Observed if there is any damage to the external tube, cracks in the curved part; tightness of the angle, deformation of the steel mesh component; deformation of the insertion tube, multiple creases; blurry image, 4 black spots, 7 gray spots; clogged forceps channel. After disassembling the operating part, it was found that there was water inside, and the light guide and image guide were hardened.

3. Malfunction Determination and Analysis：

Cracked curved tube, tight angle, long-term use caused the insertion tube to be flattened in many places, the forceps tube is bent, and there is resistance; the residual tissue protein on the surface of the insertion tube is dehydrated and adhered to the outer skin during the disinfection process, and accumulates over time to form crystals, causing the outer skin of the insertion tube and other components to turn yellow, rough, and aged. Water ingress causes blurry images, with black and gray spots and other image interference.

4. Malfunction Handling：

Overhaul. Replace the outer skin, outer mesh, insertion tube, steel mesh component, and distal end large component. After powering on, the image display shows no interference, and the malfunction is eliminated.

6. Endoscope Maintenance Tips：

The endoscope should be stored properly after use.

(1) Cleaning: After use, the endoscope should be thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, dried, and maintained (leak test, alcohol wipe of the distal end without water, alcohol wipe of the endoscope body without water, oiling the buttons, etc.).

(2) Storage: Store in a dedicated endoscope cabinet (hanging, stable), and turn on the ultraviolet disinfection regularly.
