I. Malfunction Phenomenon:
Image artifacts
1. A bright spot in the middle, the rest is very dark, the image has no diagnostic value.
2. There is a horizontal bright line in the middle, with the white line as the boundary, a virtual mirror image is found below.
3. There is a vertical bright line in the middle, and there is an overlapping phenomenon on both sides of the image.
Check the host ERROR LOG, and found that almost every time the machine is turned on in the past week, a CERD error is reported, error codes: 2236416, 2236568.
Fault Analysis:
Since the ERROR LOG clearly mentions UCERD malfunction, it is judged that the artifact may be caused by UCERD, but the white line in the middle of the image may be caused by gradient malfunction. Therefore, it is necessary to confirm whether the gradient and UCERD are the causes of the fault.
(1) Diagnosis of UCERD, CERD, IPG, SBAM, all qualified in this case.
(2) Measurement of CERD power supply: 5.03V, -5.29V, +14.96V, -15.00V. Normal.
(3) Turn off the machine and turn it on again after half an hour.
(4) Check the ERROR LOG. Error codes 2236416, 2236568 are still reported.
(5) Diagnose CERD, and error messages appear. System error messages ASC-223416, AIME-2236329. RAP-2236453. EXCITER-2236717. RECEIVER-2236701.
(6) Try scanning the phantom, and find that the image begins to deteriorate, and finally, bright spot artifacts appear during the sequence.
(7) Measurement of gradient AUX power supply: +5.30V, +14.80V, -14.85V, +41.6V, which is within the normal range.
(8) Bright spot artifacts appear during scanning, and repeating the scan three times still does not work, so the machine is turned on and off.
(9) When scanning again, it is normal. Reseat UCERD.
(10) In the afternoon test, the machine starts normally, no error is reported, and the scan is normal.
(11) The next day's test shows that the machine starts normally without any error.
II. Troubleshooting:
The malfunction disappeared after reseating UCERD.
Maintenance Experience
The real cause of this malfunction is the poor contact of UCERD, which caused the artifact.
However, the malfunction phenomenon has similar problems to gradient malfunction. To solve this problem, it is necessary to check item by item according to the troubleshooting process.
