I. Fault Phenomenon:
Normally, the power-on is normal, but after working for half an hour, an error occurs with code E37. The fault remains after power-off and power-on. After cooling down to room temperature for several hours, the machine can work normally for another half an hour.
II. Fault Deduction:
1. Normal power-on under normal conditions indicates that the parameters and performance indicators of various electronic components are normal at normal temperature, and the fault hidden danger is not presented.
2. After working for half an hour, due to heat loss generated by work, the temperature inside the device or locally must be higher than room temperature.
3. The error message indicates that a fault has occurred under the current condition, or the performance of the electronic components has deteriorated or failed. Temperature is most likely one of the factors.
4. After cooling down and powering on, it can work normally for another half an hour, indicating that the electronic components affected by temperature are normal at room temperature.
Based on the above reasoning, it is concluded that an electronic component with a hidden defect inside the equipment fails when the temperature rises! It is normal at room temperature. To verify the above deduction, the hot and cold method is used to detect the location of the fault, the steps are as follows:
(1) Open the equipment cover and quickly heat the entire equipment circuit board at room temperature with a hot air gun (heating time is controlled within a few minutes). Power on the equipment and work, the fault appears, immediately power off and quickly cool down the entire equipment with cold air (cooling time is controlled within a few minutes). After powering on and operating, the equipment is normal. Repeating this several times, the characteristics are the same. It is preliminarily determined that the deduction that the electronic component with a hidden fault is affected by temperature and fails is correct. Only the electronic components with abnormal performance will be affected by the temperature of normal operation.
(2) After the verification in the first step, the next step is to perform repeated heating and cooling of single boards locally. Exclude boards unaffected by temperature. When the verification action reaches the "Control-Board 40128-095" board (as shown in Figure 1), the temperature difference makes this board quickly show the fault and the hidden fault. This shows that the fault lies in this board. In order to ensure that there is no misjudgment, repeated tests were also conducted on other boards without any anomalies.

(3)This board was directly replaced, and the hot and cold test was performed again without any faults. Using a high-frequency electrosurgical knife tester, the actual output power, crest factor (CF), test load/power curve, etc., all meet the standards!
III. Summary:
For equipment with such hidden faults, it is not necessary to use high-end and complex testing instruments to find the fault. Multiple effective methods should be used, carefully observed, repeatedly tested, and the scope of inspection should be narrowed down. Find the fault step by step.
