With the rapid development of ultrasound medical technology, the level of medical diagnostic technology is getting higher and higher. Among the auxiliary examination equipment in hospitals, color Doppler ultrasound equipment has become an important component, which can improve the level of disease diagnosis to a certain extent. However, there are some problems in the clinical application of this equipment, so it is necessary to further analyze and study the causes of failures, and summarize the relevant maintenance work to provide a reference for subsequent mechanical maintenance.
Fault Phenomenon
After the power supply of the Philips color Doppler ultrasound equipment is connected, the entire equipment will enter the pending mode. After the power switch is turned on, the Philips color Doppler ultrasound equipment starts to operate. At this time, the system will initialize, but after a few seconds of operation, it suddenly powers off, and the 5VSBY indicator light and DCIN indicator light on the equipment flash.
After this happened, the relevant personnel restarted the power button, but the equipment did not respond.
To deal with this situation, the staff will disconnect the power supply and reconnect it. After restarting the power button, the equipment will repeat the above-mentioned phenomenon. After repeated attempts, sometimes the color Doppler ultrasound equipment can operate normally, and sometimes it cannot be used again once it falls into a dead machine state.
Analysis and Repair
One of the common faults in color Doppler ultrasound systems is the inability to power on, and the machine cannot be charged.
In the study and analysis of this fault, after the system power supply plug is connected, the output indicator light on the control panel does not light up, and the hard disk indicator light does not light up in standby mode.
Disconnect the host and power cord, and use a multimeter to measure the power output to check whether the AC power is normal. After the machine is connected to the power supply, before turning on the machine, ensure that the power supply board has power supply, and if a low-power signal can be emitted, observe the 5VSBY indicator light and DCIN indicator light.
The power distribution board SPD can be responsible for controlling the rear-end power supply. When the AC power changes, the standby signal will also change. The AC power will cause the transformer to change. The previous 220V AC power will be converted into 12V standby state. In addition, the transformer can play a role in AC filtering.
When the entire system is normal, turn on the transformer, and a blue indicator light will appear on the equipment. If the equipment current and voltage are excessively protected, the transformer indicator light will keep flashing.
In addition, the power distribution board includes two parts: the front-end and rear-end power distribution boards. The power and voltage between the two are different, and the initial position and final delivery position also have certain differences. The different DC voltages are different when passing through the front-end power supply and the rear-end voltage. In the rear-end power distribution board, if the displayed output voltage is at a normal level, then UMB can operate normally; otherwise, the system will automatically cut off the power for self-protection, which will eventually lead to the entire system being unable to operate normally.
The rear-end power supply automatically protects itself when it leaves the host, with no output power, and only the 5VSBY indicator light and DCIN indicator light are on, and the output indicator light is off. To measure the 12VD, 5VD, 3.3VD, 5VA, and 12VA power voltages, the voltage can be measured from T1, B1 to T5, B5 to see if it is normal. After appropriately adjusting and improving the circuit, restart the color Doppler ultrasound equipment. If the entire equipment can operate normally, it can prove that there are indeed many hidden dangers and problems in the front-end of the power supply.
If the color Doppler ultrasound equipment fails to restart, it proves that our previous adjustments to the front-end of the power supply are invalid, which means that there is no fault in the front-end of the power supply. Next, the same processing as the front-end should be applied to the rear-end of the equipment. After a series of checks, we can accurately know whether there are problems in the front and rear ends of the equipment.
After completing the above inspection work, it is necessary to conduct a systematic check of the equipment host power supply before a conclusion can be drawn to determine whether there is a fault in the power supply.
In the Philips color Doppler ultrasound equipment, if there are some problems in the host electronic control system, the equipment will be in a protected mode, and the system power will be automatically cut off at this time.
Relevant Measures for Fault Repair
Check the operating status of the host power voltage, and then systematically check the power distribution board SPD.
Check the operation of the field-effect transistor, replace the relevant components, ensure the normal use of the circuit board, and avoid external factors from causing damage to it.
The rear-end power distribution board can monitor the on/off status of the equipment in real time, so as to ensure that UMB can operate normally; otherwise, the system will be in a self-protection state and automatically cut off the power.
The voltage of the front-end power distribution board is slightly different at different times. By monitoring the changes in current, it plays a positive role in finding the location of system faults.
Experience
The research and analysis of the existing faults in the color Doppler ultrasound system, whether hardware or software problems, requires corresponding analysis of specific problems, continuous optimization and improvement of maintenance schemes, so as to solve the equipment system faults.
In summary, most of the color Doppler ultrasound equipment used clinically are purchased from abroad. Once the equipment has problems, the cost of later maintenance and maintenance is very high. Mechanical maintenance personnel should have a full understanding of the equipment, understand the Model of internal accessories, communicate with engineers before maintenance, enrich their own maintenance theoretical knowledge, and improve the quality and efficiency of equipment maintenance.
