　Medical endoscopy systems are mainly composed of equipment systems and surgical instrument systems. Surgical instrument systems are mainly classified by department or surgical name. There are endoscopes, special instruments, surgical instruments used with supporting equipment, and disposable surgical consumables used by various departments. This will not be detailed here; below we will mainly discuss the structural composition of the equipment system.

　　In the equipment system, we can usually divide it into: imaging system, image recording system, light source system, artificial pneumoperitoneum system, liquid pressure system, electrocoagulation and electrosection system, power ablation system, irrigation and aspiration system, etc.

　　(1) Imaging system: This system includes a monitor and a camera. Monitors come in conventional CRT and LCD types, and cameras come in single CCD and 3CCD types. Now, high-end users mostly use LCD monitors with 3CCD cameras.

　　(2) Image recording system: Now many hospitals choose computer-based image workstations. This system is divided into two parts: computer hardware and image acquisition software.

　　(3) Light source system: Also known as a cold light source. The cold light source bulb is filled with halogen and xenon gas, with an output power of 70-400W. Now 300W xenon light source is the mainstream product. Its outstanding features are strong light, color temperature 5600-6000k, similar to sunlight, covering the entire band from ultraviolet to infrared.

　　(4) Artificial pneumoperitoneum system: Connect the pneumoperitoneum machine to the carbon dioxide cylinder and open the valve on the cylinder. Then turn on the pneumoperitoneum machine and select the pressure preset value according to the surgical needs. When the intra-abdominal pressure exceeds or is lower than the set value, the fully automatic carbon dioxide pneumoperitoneum machine can automatically start or stop injecting gas.
