1. Fault Phenomenon

2. Fault Detection：

(1) Observe whether there is any external damage. Cable damage.

(2) On-machine detection. After detection, the transducer has missing array elements. The normal capacitance of the transducer is 280pf, and the weak capacitance transducer is bad. It is recommended to replace it. The flexible board needs to be replaced, and the wiring needs to be repaired.

3. Fault Determination and Analysis：

Long-term use leads to transducer wear, resulting in dark channels in the image. Cable damage requires replacing the transducer cable.

4. Troubleshooting：

Overhaul. Replace the transducer and cable. After the on-machine test, the image is normal.

6. Probe Maintenance and Care

(1) Handle with care

Ultrasonic probes must be handled with care during use to avoid impact damage to the internal chips of the probe. When finished using the probe, do not fold or tangle the probe connecting wires.

(2) Probe Plugging and Unplugging

In daily applications of ultrasonic probes, when changing ultrasonic probes, be sure to turn off the host power. If the host is not powered off and not frozen, directly plugging and unplugging the probe may cause damage to the internal circuit board and crystals of the probe due to a momentary surge of current. At the same time, it will accelerate the oxidation of the probe plug pins, directly affecting the normal use of the probe.

(3) Probe Cleaning and Disinfection

Avoid contact between the probe socket and disinfectant. If the probe socket is contaminated with cleaning agents and disinfectants, it will directly corrode and accelerate the oxidation of the probe socket pins. In short, the maintenance and care of ultrasonic probes are important in the actual medical equipment maintenance process because the effective accuracy of ultrasonic probes directly affects the efficiency of ultrasonic examinations.
